Come show your support of atrial fibrillation research with CARMA at our 4th Annual Run in Rhythm 5K!
We're rallying the community in support of atrial fibrillation (Afib) research at our 4th Annual Run in Rhythm 5K! On August 17, 2013, hundreds will join the CARMA Center to run, walk, and cheer on participants as they race to help raise awareness about Afib, a cardiac arrhythmia that affects more than four million Americans and causes 20% of all strokes. The FREE 5K begins at Rice Eccles Stadium and continues across the University of Utah campus.
Registration for Run in Rhythm is now closed. Non-registered participants can still run, but will not be timed.
If you have already registered and would like to save time, please print out a copy of our consent form, fill it out & sign, and bring with you when you pick up your bib.
Note: Unfortunately, due to unforeseen construction, we have been unable to find another suitable and safe location for the Kids Fun Run. Families are encouraged to walk the 5K with their kids this year.
Volunteer: Join our CARMA team on race day to host another safe and fun 5K! Contact Emily Rushton if interested. Volunteering for the 5K can also earn you Wellness Now credit!
Parking: Parking is free during the weekend on the University of Utah campus. We recommend parking at Rice Eccles Stadium or the University Bookstore for access to the Run in Rhythm 5K and the Be Well Utah Fair.
