The CARMA Center is a world leader in cardiac arrhythmia research with a mission to cure atrial fibrillation. The Center’s collaborative environment produces cutting-edge research, breakthrough technology development and impactful community outreach. However, the Center cannot continue its research without support from the community. With generous donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations the CARMA Center can revolutionize cardiac arrhythmia treatment and management.
Gifts can be directed to specific areas including outreach, research, or future projects, or it can be applied to the Center’s area of greatest need.

Other ways of supporting the CARMA Center include:
Matching Gifts: Many employers will match charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your employer has a matching gift policy, please visit http://www.matchinggifts.com/utah/.
Stock Gifts: Individuals may transfer stock and receive a charitable tax deduction to avoid capital gains tax. As always, consult your tax advisor before transferring stocks or bonds.
Planned Gifts: Planned gifts allow donors to make larger donations than would otherwise not be possible. They can offer significant estate-tax and income benefits.
Pledges: Donors can commit a larger gift amount and make a pledge over three to five years.
Endowed Gifts: An endowed fund is a permanent source of support for the CARMA Center. Funds are invested by the University and generate annual income. A portion of the return supports the donor’s chosen purpose. The remaining principal and appreciation grows, continually supporting the Center.
