Job & Volunteer Opportunities
As part of the greater University Health Care facilities, the CARMA Center provides an exciting place to volunteer. In addition to making a significant contribution to the hospital and community, you'll realize other benefits by volunteering. It is a unique opportunity to participate in a multidisciplinary research center that integrates novel biomedical technology into clinical research with application to patient care and arrhythmia management.
With the growing demand for medical professionals today, CARMA volunteers not only offer a much needed service, but also have a chance to familiarize themselves with the hospital environment and to explore health care and its related fields as a profession. Many of our volunteers gain valuable clinical and research exposure, which is highly encouraged by most medical and professional schools. Our volunteers come from a wide variety of backgrounds and disciplines, each bringing special talents to the team.
We have a variety of volunteer opportunities and make an effort to match your skills and interests with the available placements. In lieu of training and demand, we require a minimum one-year commitment of 8-10 hrs/wk.
