We are thrilled to announce that Donna Baluchi, MLIS, has been recently named Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Librarian for the Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library.
Donna has worked with the University of Utah Health Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion team for years advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion in the one space that is shared by all of us at University of Utah Health—the library. Before taking this position, Donna served as the Interim Associate Director for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and had multiple other roles at the health sciences library as well. She continues to teach in the Health Professions LEAP and Health Sciences LEAP programs and has been an outstanding ally and engine in the research performed by the associate deans and directors of equity, diversity, and inclusion on health sciences. Her wealth of experience will serve all of us and help to advance equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts across the health sciences.
