On June 7, 2022, Dr. Rodríguez presented the excellent work of the health sciences offices of equity, diversity, and inclusion and University of Utah Health Equity Diversity and Inclusion (UHEDI) priorities to the health sciences senior vice president cabinet.
Major announcements included a renewed collaboration with main campus partners on equity-focused K-12 outreach programs, successes, and challenges with directed steps from our health sciences strategy, as well as the incredible number of Health Sciences LEAP students who have been accepted into the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine.
