Homer Warner -- Founder of Biomedical Informatics

Dr. Homer Warner, who passed away on Nov. 29, was a giant among faculty members at the University of Utah. Known internationally as a pioneer in the field of biomedical informatics, he was the founding chair of the U's Department of Biomedical Informatics. I recently had the chance to interview Dr. Warner as part of the Dean's Roundtable series where he inspired and captivated our medical students.
