Matt McLaren serves as the Analytic Services Portfolio Manager for the University of Utah Medical Group Analytics. His 25+ years of work experience includes broad institutional achievements such as development of the “Find A Doctor” web application, creation of inpatient physician clinical documentation for Cerner and Epic EMRs, and the design and implementation of MGA team workflows in the cloud-based ServiceNow platform. Matt is the team’s Epic EMR subject-matter-expert and holds certifications in Epic’s Inpatient Clinical Documentation, Caboodle Data Model and Cogito. Leveraging this skill set to provide timely information to providers for informed clinical decision making is Matt’s current focus.
